Dr. Oluwatosin Fatusin is an Assistant Professor of Pediatric Cardiology at Baylor College of Medicine and a pediatric and fetal cardiologist at Texas Children's Hospital – The Woodlands. She earned her MD and MPH from Johns Hopkins University, where she also completed her pediatric residency and pediatric cardiology fellowship, followed by advanced imaging training at Boston Children's Hospital/Harvard.
Since joining Baylor in 2017, Dr. Fatusin has been instrumental in establishing and leading the fetal cardiology program at The Woodlands campus and expanding subspecialty cardiac services in North Houston. She has developed protocols that safely manage high-acuity cardiac patients at the community campus while maintaining continuity of care and family proximity.
Dr. Fatusin's leadership extends beyond clinical care. She served as President of the Texas Children's Hospital Medical Staff in 2022 and currently co-leads the faculty peer-mentoring program. Her dedication to clinical excellence was recognized with Baylor's Star Award for Excellence in Patient Care in 2025, one of the institution's highest honors for sustained clinical performance and innovation. She is actively involved in research through the Fetal Heart Society and has contributed to publications on fetal echocardiographic assessment and cardiac care quality improvement.
