After earning his medical degree at the prestigious University College Hospital in Ibadan, Dr. Falase pursued advanced cardiothoracic training in Wales, earning his Intercollegiate Fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. His decision to return home to Nigeria in 2006, rather than remain abroad, speaks volumes about his commitment to advancing healthcare on the continent. Through his leadership in establishing open heart surgery programs and developing Nigeria's first comprehensive cardiothoracic surgery registries, he has laid the foundation for evidence-based cardiac care across the nation.
