Dr. Jacqueline Ejituwu is a consultant cardiologist at the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital, where she trained in internal medicine and cardiology. She obtained her fellowship certification through the West African College of Physicians and the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria. During her residency, she distinguished herself as chief resident and assistant chief resident, while also serving on the hospital’s strategic planning and non-communicable disease committees. Recognized for her academic excellence, she graduated as Best Student in Obstetrics & Gynecology and Pharmacology from the University of Port Harcourt. 


She is presently undergoing a fellowship in cardiac electrophysiology at the Fortis Escorts Heart Institute in New Delhi, India, expanding her expertise in arrhythmia care. With her growing expertise in arrhythmia management and cardiac device therapy, Dr. Ejituwu is committed to advancing cardiovascular care and contributing to the development of electrophysiology services in Nigeria. 

The Cardiovascular Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) international nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting cardiovascular education, research and patient care in Africa and the African Diaspora.
