Onomen A. Ehizojie is a Catheterization Laboratory Technician at Nue Healthcare Partners Limited and Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Nigeria. She holds a first-class Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from Ambrose Alli University and has completed additional diplomas in Human Anatomy and Physiology, and Clinical Nursing Skills.


With over three years of specialized experience in cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology laboratories, Onomen supports complex cardiovascular procedures including device closures, angiography, percutaneous coronary interventions, pacemaker and high-power device implantations, and ablation procedures. Her unique background combining microbiology expertise with cardiovascular technology enables her to contribute meaningfully to both clinical care and research initiatives.


Onomen is actively engaged in cardiovascular research and has presented at cardiac society conferences as both primary presenter and co-author. Currently pursuing her Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification, she demonstrates a commitment to advancing her expertise in interventional cardiology while contributing to the growing field of cardiovascular care in Nigeria.


The Cardiovascular Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) international nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting cardiovascular education, research and patient care in Africa and the African Diaspora.
