Dr. Nephertiti Efeovbokhan is an Interventional and Structural Cardiologist at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas, and an Adjunct Assistant Professor at NYIT at Arkansas State University.
She earned her medical degree from the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University in Ile-Ife, Nigeria, and emigrated to the United States in 2008. She completed her residency and served as Chief Resident in Internal Medicine at Michigan State University in East Lansing. She went on to complete fellowships in General Cardiology at the University of Tennessee, Memphis, and Interventional Cardiology at the University of Florida, Jacksonville.
Dr. Efeovbokhan maintains a busy clinical and interventional practice, with expertise spanning coronary, peripheral, and structural heart procedures. She is deeply committed to medical education, teaching and mentoring Internal Medicine residents at NEA Baptist Hospital. In addition, she contributes to clinical research, collaborating with a Michigan State University team on hypertension and cardiovascular risk reduction.
Beyond her professional commitments, Dr. Efeovbokhan is actively engaged in her community, volunteering at the Refuge Assembly of God Church, the Food Bank of Northeast Arkansas, and Ridgefield Christian School.
