Dr. Tamara Bradford is an Associate Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at LSU Health Sciences Center and Director of the Heart Failure and Cardiomyopathy Program at Manning Family Children's Hospital in New Orleans. Originally from St. Vincent and the Grenadines, she earned her medical degree from Texas A&M College of Medicine, completed her pediatrics residency at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital, and both her pediatric cardiology fellowship and advanced fellowship in heart failure and heart transplantation at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center.
Dr. Bradford is board-certified in pediatrics and pediatric cardiology with subspecialty expertise in heart failure, cardiomyopathy, and heart transplantation. She has contributed to significant research including COVID-19 studies published in The New England Journal of Medicine and currently serves as site principal investigator for clinical trials in pediatric hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.
A Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and American College of Cardiology, Dr. Bradford is committed to advancing evidence-based care for children with heart disease while actively mentoring the next generation of pediatric cardiologists.
