Alvarez, Lucia, MD

Dr. Alvarez is an assistant professor at Emory University School of Medicine. She attended medical school at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid in Spain, and did completed a cardiology fellowship in Spain before moving to the United States. 

She underwent her Internal Medicine residency at Wake Forrest, and fellowship in Cardiology and Structural Imaging both at Emory University.  She joined on as faculty following, and serves as the Echocardiography lab director at St. Joseph Hospital, a part of the Emory SOM family.
