Al Darazi, Fahed, MD

Dr. Fahed Al Darazi is a Staff Cardiologist specializing in invasive and non-interventional cardiology, structural imaging, and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy at UnityPoint Cardiology in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He completed his cardiovascular diseases fellowship at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, where he served as Chief Fellow, following his internal medicine residency at John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County in Chicago. He earned his medical degree from the American University of Beirut in Lebanon.

Dr. Al Darazi is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology, and Cardiac CT. He has served as Chair of Cardiology at UnityPoint from 2022-2024 and participates on multiple hospital committees including Clinical Management and Peer Review. Dr. Al Darazi has received numerous awards including multiple Young Investigator Awards from the Southern Society of Clinical Investigation and the Guardian Angel Award from St. Luke's Hospital. He is fluent in Arabic, English, and French, and is an active member of the American College of Cardiology and American Society of Echocardiography.
