Ademola Adeseye, MD, MPH is a board-certified thoracic surgeon. In practice since 2018, Dr. Adeseye was called to the field of medicine by an early interest in anatomy and physiology combined with a desire to help others. He treats all his patients with respect and compassion and cares for them as if they were his own family.


Dr. Adeseye earned his medical degree from University of Ibadan in Ibadan, Nigeria, and completed two residency programs: one in general surgery at University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City and one in cardiothoracic surgery at Baylor College of Medicine/Texas Heart Institute in Houston. Of note, while at the University of Oklahoma, he became the first General Surgery resident in the history of OU Department of Surgery to be inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society.


Presently, he works in Rome Georgia as a thoracic surgeon, where he is able to engage in the entire realm of cardiothoracic practice, including the repair of ascending aortic aneurysms and dissections, myocardial revascularization, treatment of valvular heart disease, TAVRs, minimally invasive and robot assisted heart and lung surgery.

The Cardiovascular Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) international nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting cardiovascular education, research and patient care in Africa and the African Diaspora.
