Ms. Tierney is a cardiac physiologist for over 20 years, based mainly in Ireland. She has experience in echo, devices and electrophysiology. For the last 9 years she has been the cardiology manager in a private hospital in Dublin, managing a team and leading many projects.  Most recently, she has increased her reach in the care of patients in Lagos as part of a CVEF volunteer team. 

To Ms. Tierney, the most rewarding parts of her day are when she is able to diagnose a patient with an unknown condition or treat a condition as a result of what she has done. The second is helping grow the skills and knowledge of a team member in the field of cardiac electrophysiology.
