Dr. Enrique Garcia-Sayan is an Associate Professor at Baylor College of Medicine and Director of Non-Invasive Cardiology at Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center and the Texas Heart Institute in Houston, TX. He earned his medical degree from Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia in Lima, Peru, and completed his Internal Medicine residency and Chief Medical Residency at Henry Ford Hospital, followed by Cardiovascular Disease fellowship and Chief Fellowship at Rush University Medical Center.

Dr. Garcia-Sayan's professional interests include advanced echocardiography, cardiac CT, and structural and interventional echocardiography. He is Level III trained in comprehensive echocardiography and cardiovascular computed tomography, and Level II in nuclear cardiology. He currently serves as Chair of the Advocacy Committee at the American Society of Echocardiography (ASE) and is a member of the ASE Interventional Echocardiography Council Steering Committee.

He is a board member and Secretary of the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) Echocardiography Board of Directors, a past member of the ASE Board of Directors, and past President of the Greater Houston Society of Echocardiography. Dr. Garcia-Sayan has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and serves on the editorial boards of multiple cardiovascular imaging journals. He is recognized for his contributions to interventional echocardiography and has received multiple teaching awards.
