Dr. Olusegun Olusesi is a cardiac electrophysiologist at Sentara Cardiology Specialists in Norfolk, Virginia. He earned his medical degree from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine in 2008, completed his internship and internal medicine residency at Yale New Haven Hospital, and pursued his cardiology fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis/Barnes-Jewish Hospital. 


Dr. Olusesi's expertise encompasses catheter ablation for complex arrhythmias including atrial fibrillation, as well as comprehensive cardiac device management including pacemakers, defibrillators, and cardiac resynchronization therapy. Known for his patient-centered approach, he works closely with individuals to develop personalized treatment plans that address the unique complexities of their heart rhythm conditions. Through his specialized training in the heart's electrical system and commitment to individualized care, Dr. Olusesi helps patients at Sentara achieve optimal cardiac rhythm management and improved quality of life.
