Mr. Okeleji Lateef Olabisi is an accomplished professional currently working as a Clinical Perfusionist and Cardiac Physiologist at the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex (OAUTHC) in Ile-Ife.
Olabisi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physiology from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, and a Master’s degree in Physiology from the University of Ilorin, Kwara State. He is presently pursuing his doctoral studies in Physiology, demonstrating his unwavering commitment to advancing his knowledge and expertise in this critical field.
His professional journey includes specialized training as a Perfusionist at Star Hospitals in Hyderabad, India, completed in 2020, coupled with systematic training on cardiac implantable devices Medtronic Academy. Since then, he has been an integral part of the cardiac surgery team at OAUTHC, where his skills and dedication have significantly contributed to patient care. Olabisi's academic career includes a tenure as a lecturer and technologist at Adeleke University, Ede, Osun state from 2018 to 2019. He has also spent over five years training allied health students in Anatomy and Physiology, shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals with his extensive knowledge and experience.
Olabisi is an Associate Member of the Nigeria Cardiac Society and allied member of the Association of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeon of Nigeria (ACTSON). His active participation in various conferences underscores his dedication to the advancement of higher education and cardiac health.
