Dr. Nikolaidis received his M.D. from the University of Athens, graduating second in his class and among the first four Greek ERASMUS scholars. Following internships in Greece, Scotland, and the USA, he completed his Internal Medicine residency at Penn State and his Cardiology Fellowship, with additional advanced training in Heart Failure, at Allegheny Health System in Pittsburgh, PA.
He has served as a Faculty member at Temple University in Philadelphia, before his current position at Baylor Scott White Health in Texas, where he is an Associate Professor of Medicine and Faculty Cardiologist in advanced Heart Failure and Cardiac transplantation.
He has been awarded research grants from the American Heart Association and has multiple publications related to Heart Failure. He is a fellow of the American Heart Association, the American College of Cardiology, and the Heart Failure Society of America.
