Pediatric Cardiology

Dr. Milhoan received his BA from PLNU. He received his PhD from UCSD, he received his MD from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. He performed his pediatric residency in the Air Force at David Grant Medical Center at Travis AFB and his pediatric cardiology fellowship at UCSD/San Diego Children’s Hospital.
He finished his service in the Air Force in 2009 and since then has been primarily traveling to serve children around the world that do not have access to adequate pediatric cardiac care, through the NGO: For Hearts and Souls, that he started with his wife Kim in 2001. As the Medical Director he has screened children for heart defects in: Mongolia, Kosovo, Sudan, Malawi, Zambia, Tanzania, Kenya, Papua New Guinea, Iraq, Yemen, Kurdistan, Syria, Nepal, and Tibet.
He has screened tens of thousands of children for congenital heart defects and has led 61 procedural missions where cardiac surgery and cardiac catheterizations were performed for a total of 774 procedures
