Dr. Tamunoinemi “Emi” Bob-Manuel is an Interventional Cardiologist and Endovascular Specialist with Stern Cardiovascular in Memphis, Tennessee, where he serves as Medical Director of the Vascular and Vein Program. He practices primarily at Baptist Memorial Hospital and Methodist Germantown Hospital and is an Affiliate Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center.
Dr. Bob earned his medical degree from Semmelweis University in Budapest, Hungary. He completed Internal Medicine residency at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Cardiovascular Disease fellowship at Ochsner Clinic Foundation, and Interventional Cardiology fellowship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center in New York.
His clinical and academic interests span complex coronary and peripheral vascular intervention, limb salvage, structural heart disease, and cardiovascular outcomes. A prolific researcher and mentor, he has authored more than 50 peer-reviewed publications and received multiple awards for clinical research, writing, and mentorship.
Beyond the cath lab, Dr. Bob is deeply committed to mentorship and developing the next generation of healthcare professionals. He is the immediate past president of the Memphis chapter of Black Men in White Coats, working to increase representation and excellence among African-American students pursuing careers in healthcare.
