Seun Alli MD

Dr. Seun Alli is an Interventional and Structural Cardiologist and Director of the Structural Heart Program at Novant Health Heart & Vascular Institute in Charlotte, North Carolina. His clinical expertise spans coronary and structural heart interventions, with particular interests in transcatheter therapies for valvular heart disease and left atrial appendage closure.

Dr. Alli earned his medical degree from the University of Ibadan in Nigeria and completed Internal Medicine residency and Cardiovascular Disease fellowship at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. He subsequently completed advanced fellowship training in Interventional and Structural Heart Disease at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He also holds an Executive Master of Health Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

His academic work focuses on structural heart interventions, procedural imaging, operational efficiency, and disparities in access to advanced cardiovascular therapies. An experienced clinical investigator, he has held leadership roles in major trials involving transcatheter valve therapies and left atrial appendage closure.

Dr. Alli’s work combines procedural innovation with healthcare systems leadership, with a particular interest in improving the delivery, efficiency, and equitable access to advanced structural heart care.
