Oluwaseye Oladimeji, MBChB, FWACP is an interventional cardiologist and Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), where he also contributes to medical education and the training of residents and physicians. He is currently pursuing advanced fellowship training in Cardiac Electrophysiology at Christian Medical College, Vellore, India.
Dr. Oladimeji earned his medical degree from Olabisi Onabanjo University and completed postgraduate specialist training through the West African College of Physicians. His advanced cardiovascular training has included interventional cardiology and endovascular procedures at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital and Christian Medical College in India. His clinical experience spans coronary and peripheral interventions, structural heart procedures, cardiac imaging, device implantation, and electrophysiology.
Since 2017, Dr. Oladimeji has participated in cardiac missions and training initiatives with the Cardiovascular Education Foundation, contributing to the development of advanced cardiovascular services in Nigeria. His career is driven by a commitment to building sustainable advanced cardiac care in resource-limited settings, with particular emphasis on local capacity building, physician training, and expanding access to interventional cardiology and electrophysiology.
