Elizabeth Roberts BSN, RN, CCRN

Elizabeth Roberts, BSN, RN, CCRN is a cardiovascular nurse and clinical leader with more than a decade of experience spanning cardiac critical care, interventional cardiology, and electrophysiology. She currently serves in a lead role in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at the Dallas VA Medical Center, where she helps oversee daily operations and patient flow while supporting both cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology services.

Ms. Roberts began her nursing career in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit at UT Southwestern Medical Center, caring for critically ill patients with complex cardiovascular disease and developing a strong foundation in hemodynamics, postoperative cardiac care, and advanced cardiovascular support. She subsequently joined the Dallas VA Medical Center, where her work in both the Medical ICU and Coronary Care Unit broadened her experience in the care of medically complex patients and veterans with cardiovascular disease.

Since transitioning to the cardiac catheterization laboratory, Ms. Roberts has developed extensive experience across a broad range of invasive cardiovascular procedures. She is proficient in every major nursing role within the procedural environment, including scrubbing, circulating, physiologic monitoring, and medication administration, allowing her to move seamlessly between clinical care, team coordination, and operational leadership.

A CCRN-certified nurse, Ms. Roberts brings a particularly valuable perspective to cardiovascular care: an understanding of the patient journey from critical illness through invasive diagnosis and treatment. She is committed to multidisciplinary teamwork, clinical excellence, and developing highly skilled teams capable of delivering safe, efficient, and patient-centered cardiovascular care.
