Chukwunonso Emegoakor MBBS FWACP

Chukwunonso “Nonso” Emegoakor, MBBS, FWACP is a Consultant Cardiologist at Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital in Nnewi, Nigeria, with particular interests in cardiac pacing, device therapy, and interventional cardiology.

Dr. Emegoakor earned his medical degree from the University of Nigeria and completed postgraduate training in Internal Medicine and Cardiology at Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital, becoming a Fellow of the West African College of Physicians in Cardiology. He also holds a Diploma in Echocardiography from the University of Vienna.

Dr. Emegoakor is currently pursuing hands-on fellowship training in cardiac device implantation and interventional cardiology at Caritas Heart Institute in Kerala, India. His expanding expertise in cardiac pacing and catheter-based cardiovascular therapies reflects his commitment to advancing contemporary cardiovascular care and strengthening access to specialized cardiac services in Nigeria.
